This split-level dwelling is sited on an elevated landscape overlooking Wexford town, with long views extending towards the sea.
The design responds to the sloping site by stepping the building into the terrain, allowing the form to sit comfortably within its setting while maximising views and daylight. A series of simple, contemporary volumes are arranged to clearly separate living and sleeping accommodation, connected by glazed circulation spaces that frame views of the surrounding landscape.
The material palette is restrained and robust, combining dark external finishes with timber accents to create a strong yet understated presence. Generous glazing and outdoor terraces enhance the relationship between the internal and external spaces, resulting in a modern family home that is both grounded and expansive.
